Other Visualization Systems
In this section you will find all Dako visualization systems not using the EnVision™ technology. These visualization systems are APAAP, ARK™, CSA, CSA II, LSAB™ and LSAB™2.
APAAP (Alkaline Phosphatase Anti-Alkaline Phosphatase) consists of soluble immunocomplexes prepared from high-affinity monoclonal mouse antibodies to calf intestinal alkaline phosphatase, and calf intestinal alkaline phosphatase.
ARK™ is a universal, low-background, visualization kit for primary mouse antibodies applied on tissue from any animal species, including mouse and rat.
CSA System is an extremely sensitive immunohistochemical visualization system for use with primary monoclonal mouse antibodies.
CSA II System's unique and powerful amplification system for immunohistochemical staining procedures greatly enhances performance capabilities of mouse and rabbit antibodies on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections. CSA II is a new and easier version of the original CSA system. CSA II is an ultra sensitive, non-biotin based, immunohistochemical visualization system for use with monoclonal mouse antibodies or polyclonal rabbit antibodies using CSA II Rabbit Link, Code K1501.
Dako LSAB™2 and LSAB™+ (labeled streptavidin-biotin) kits are visualization kits based on the sequential application of biotinylated link antibody and streptavidin labeled with alkaline phosphatase (AP) or peroxidase (HRP). Thus, the kits utilize a sensitive procedure that gives clean, intense staining. Streptavidin/HRP, Code P0397, is available for user-generated protocols.
