Clone 2B11 + PD7/26
Reacts with CD45 in both normal and neoplastic cells.
Together with other antibodies, it is useful for differentiation of hematopoietic neoplasms, particularly of the lymphoid type, from poorly differentiated epithelial and mesenchymal neoplasms. Antibodies to CD45 may also aid in the diagnosis of lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin's disease.

FLEX Monoclonal Mouse Anti-Human CD45, Leucocyte Common Antigen, Clones 2B11 + PD7/26, Ready-to-Use, (Dako Autostainer/Autostainer Plus), is intended for use in immunohistochemistry together with (Dako Autostainer/Autostainer Plus instruments. This antibody labels CD45 in both normal and neoplastic cells, and is useful for identifying tumor cells of lymphoid origin (1-3). The clinical interpretation of any staining or its absence should be complemented by morphological studies using proper controls and should be evaluated within the context of the patient's clinical history and other diagnostic tests by a qualified pathologist.

Specificity
Anti-CD45 is a mixture of two monoclonal antibodies, clones 2B11 and PD7/26, directed against different epitopes. Clone 2B11 was clustered as anti-CD45 at the Third International Workshop and Conference on Human Leucocyte Differentiation Antigens and reacts with all the known isotypes of the CD45 family (6). Clone PD7/26 was clustered as anti-CD45RB at the Fifth International Workshop and Conference on Human Leucocyte Differentiation Antigens (7).

Ready-to-use monoclonal mouse antibody provided in liquid form in a buffer containing stabilizing protein and 0.015 mol/L sodium azide.
