Monoclonal Mouse Anti-Human
EGFR, Wild-Type
Clone DAK-H1-WT
Reacts with the N-terminal part of the extracellular domain of human epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). EGFR is a 170 kDa transmembrane receptor that is expressed by a variety of normal cells including fibroblasts and a wide range of epithelia. This antibody does not label the 2-7 truncated EGFR variant (EGFR-vIII).

Monoclonal Mouse Anti-Human Wild-Type EGFR, Clone DAK-H1-WT, is recommended for use in immunohistochemistry. The antibody labels the N-terminal part of the extracellular domain of human epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). The antibody does not label the Δ2-7 truncated variant of EGFR (EGFR-vIII).
As demonstrated by immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded CHO cells transfected with the genes encoding for EGFR, EGFR-vIII, HER2, HER3 or HER4, the antibody cross-reacts with the EGFR protein but not with EGFR-vIII or any of the HER2, HER3 and HER4 encoded proteins.
As demonstrated by immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue, the antibody does not cross-react with the EGFR-equivalent protein in cow, dog, horse, mouse, rat, and swine.
Clone: DAK-H1-WT. Isotype: IgG1, kappa.
Mouse IgG concentration mg/L: See label on vial.
