Specific Proteins
Dako’s specific proteins product portfolio includes a comprehensive range of:
- Polyclonal primary antibodies for miscellaneous purposes such as:
- Precipitation techniques
- ELISA
- IHC - Assays for turbidimetry and nephelometry including calibrators, controls and buffers
Polyclonal primary antibodies
Dako was the first company to acknowledge the need for standardized antibody titer and we have a history of very low batch-to-batch variation. The titer variation between lots is less than 10%. Our rabbit polyclonal antibodies are derived from a selected breeding of rabbits carefully chosen for their ability to produce large amounts of high-affinity antibodies.
Broad range of immunoassays for turbidimetry and nephelometry
Within the area of turbidimetry and nephelometry we are specialized in diagnosis of kidney diseases, cardiovascular risk and patient profiling. A comprehensive range of conventional products as well as particle-enhanced assays are available and can be used on a variety of different, fully-automated instruments.
Information about available application notes for turbidimetry
Dako has a multi-human serum calibrator, which is value assigned to 20 markers. The calibrator has been assigned using the International Reference Preparation CRM 470. The multi-human serum calibrator enables optimal usage of the reagent, reducing the risk of any obsolete surplus reagent due to expiration issues. Further, Dako has a multi-human serum calibrator value assigned to Lp(a), ApoA1 and ApoB.
Key benefits
Dako’s immunoassays for turbidimetry offer the following key benefits:
- Low lot-to-lot variation, less than 10%
