Intended Use
For in vitro diagnostic use.
Monoclonal Mouse Anti-Human Cytokeratin 10, Clone DE-K10, is intended for use in immunocytochemistry. The antibody labels all suprabasal cells in the epidermis and is a useful tool for the identification of more differentiated squamous cell carcinomas (1, 2). Differential identification is aided by the results from a panel of antibodies. Interpretation must be made within the context of the patient's clinical history and other diagnostic tests by a qualified pathologist.

Specificity
In Western blotting of cytoskeletal preparations from human epidermis, the antibody labels a single 56.5 kDa band corresponding to CK 10 (1).
In two-dimensional immunoblotting of cytoskeletal proteins from human skin, the antibody labels a single dot corresponding to CK 10 (1).
