Monoclonal Mouse Anti-Human
Cytokeratin 19
Clone RCK108
Reacts with the 40 kDa protein corresponding to cytokeratin 19.
The antibody labels many types of normal and neoplastic simple and non-keratinizing epithelia, including ductal and glandular epithelia.

Thyroid papillary carcinoma (FFPE) stained with FLEX Anti-Cytokeratin 19, Code IR615/IS615.
Thyroid papillary carcinoma. The neoplastic cells show a strong cytoplasmic staining reaction, whereas the adjacent normal thyroid is negative.
Clinical application for IR615/S615. For identification of epithelial tumors with cytokeration 19 (CK 19)-expression such as breast carcinoma, thyroid papillary carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma.

FLEX Monoclonal Mouse Anti-Human Cytokeratin 19, Clone RCK108, Ready-to-Use (Link), is intended for use in immunohistochemistry together with Autostainer Link instruments. This antibody labels epithelial cells expressing the cytokeratin 19 protein, and is useful for the identification of epithelial tumors, and may be useful in identifying cholangiocellular carcinomas (1). The clinical interpretation of any staining or its absence should be complemented by morphological studies using proper controls and should be evaluated within the context of the patient's clinical history and other diagnostic tests by a qualified pathologist.
In immunohistochemistry on different human tissues, the antibody labels only epithelia, whereas cells known not to contain CK19, e.g. hepatocytes, are not labeled (1).
Clone: RCK108. Isotype: IgG1, kappa.
