Gram Stain Kit, Artisan™
This Gram stain is based on a modified Twort's method optimized for the Artisan™ Staining System. This stain uses crystal violet to mark the Gram-positive bacteria blue and decolorization changes the Gram-negative bacteria red. The Twort's stain imparts a blue-green background which allows for easier visualization of the organisms. This stain is not intended for use on aspirates or smears.
