Monoclonal Mouse Anti-Human
CD2
Clone AB75
CD2 is a transmembrane glycoprotein that is considered a pan-T-cell antigen expressed on the majority of thymocytes and virtually all peripheral T lymphocytes.
Among neoplasms, the majority of precursor and post thymic lymphomas and leukemias show CD2 expression, while B-cell neoplasms usually do not. The antibody is especially useful for identification of peripheral T-cell lymphoma, anaplastic large cell lymphoma and precursor T-cell lymphoma.
Isotype IgG1, kappa
- Formalin

Peripheral T-cell lymphoma (FFPE) stained with FLEX Anti-CD2, Code IR651/IS651.
Peripheral T-cell lymphoma. The majority of the neoplastic cells show a distinct predominantly membranous staining reaction.
Clinical application for IR651/IS651. For identification of normal T cells and related neoplasms such as precursor T-lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma, peripheral T-cell lymphoma and anaplastic large cell lymphoma.
Precursor T-lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma.
Tonsil. The crowded T cells in the T-zone show a moderate to strong membranous staining reaction, and the scattered T cells in the germinal center show a strong continuous membranous staining reaction.
Recommended control for IR651/IS651. Appendix/Colon/Tonsil.

FLEX Monoclonal Mouse Anti-Human CD2, Clone AB75, is intended for use in immunohistochemistry. This antibody labels normal T cells and related neoplasms and is especially useful for the identification of precursor T-cell lymphoma (1), peripheral T-cell lymphoma (2) and anaplastic large cell lymphoma (3). The clinical interpretation of any staining or its absence should be complemented by morphological studies using proper controls and should be evaluated within the context of the patient's clinical history and other diagnostic tests by a qualified pathologist.
Clone: AB75. Isotype: IgG1, kappa.
Mouse IgG concentration mg/L: See label on vial.
The protein concentration between lots may vary without influencing the optimal dilution. The titer of each individual lot is compared and adjusted to a reference lot to ensure a consistent immunohistochemical staining performance from lot-to-lot.
