Specific Proteins
Information for the clinical immunochemistry laboratory and for the researcher
Within the field of clinical immunochemistry, Dako has vast experience in producing antibody reagents for the measurement of proteins in body fluids. Our Specific Proteins retail portfolio includes polyclonal antibodies for miscellaneous usage, turbidimetry assays for a variety of automated platforms, and ELISA kits including kits for chromogranin A, C-peptide and Insulin measuring.
Rely on high-quality polyclonal antibodies
Dako was the first company to acknowledge the need for standardized antibody titer and we have a history of very low batch-to-batch variation. The titer variation between lots is less than 10%. Our rabbit polyclonal antibodies are derived from a selected breeding of rabbits carefully chosen for their ability to produce large amounts of high affinity antibodies.
Owing to their high specificity and precipitating ability, the primary polyclonal antibodies are well-suited for a variety of applications including precipitation, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, turbidimetry and nephelometry.
