IGL FISH DNA Probe, Split Signal

The human IGL locus at chromosome 22 consists of at least 84 genes. These genes are devided into 70 variable (IGLV) genes, 7 joining (IGLJ) gene segments, and 7 constant (IGLC) genes. The IGL locus spans a region of ~911 kb on chromosome 22 band q11. Y5412 is a probe mix based on a combination of DNA and PNA technology, and contains two ready-to-use FISH DNA probes and unlabeled PNA blocking probes. The FISH DNA probes are a mixture of a Texas Red-labeled DNA probe (IGL-Downstream) covering 343 kb telomeric to the IGL breakpoint cluster region and a fluorescein-labeled DNA probe (IGL-Upstream) covering 829 kb centromeric to the IGL breakpoint cluster region.
