Polyclonal Rabbit Anti-Human
Gastrin
Gastrin is a peptide hormone that is important in the regulation of gastric acid secretion and mucosal cell proliferation.
This antibody labels cells producing gastrin or structural gastrin analogues.
Gastrin-producing tumor spread to the liver (FFPE) stained with FLEX Anti-Gastrin, Code IR519/IS519.
Gastrin-producing tumor spread to the liver. The majority of the neoplastic cells show a moderate granular staining reaction.
Clinical application for IR519/IS519 For identification of gastrin-secreting neuroendocrine tumors.

- Optimized staining performance of both high- and low-expression structures
- Crisp and clear staining with no background
- Optimal laboratory efficiency with ready-to-use antibodies on Dako Autostainer Link 48
FLEX Polyclonal Rabbit Anti-Human Gastrin, Ready-to-Use (Link), is intended for use in immunohistochemistry together with Autostainer Link instruments. This antibody labels gastrin and is useful for the identification of gastrin secreting neuroendocrine tumors (1, 2). The clinical interpretation of any staining or its absence should be complemented by morphological studies using proper controls and should be evaluated within the context of the patient's clinical history and other diagnostic tests by a qualified pathologist.
The specificity of the antibody has been ascertained as follows:
Crossed immunoelectrophoresis: No precipitation arch appears when using 12.5 µL concentrated antibody per cm2 gel area against 2 µL of human plasma or 2 µL bovine serum. Staining: Coomassie Brilliant Blue.
